Blog Update HANDED IN

Today we handed in our project. It was a busy lesson and I spend most of the time doing and setting up Emma's scenes that she actually had on my dodgy harddrive. We had a little bit of complications with emma. Her sound was on Natalies drive (away) and her footage was on mine. Now I do have a reason why I did not bring it, mainly because I didn't know it was on the drive. Emma would say that she couldn't do something or that she would do it when natalie was there because "it" was on natalies harddrive. I kinda assumed from that that Emma's film was put together and on Nat's drive.

So yeah, after spending the whole lesson helping Emma out, my film did not get time to be put on the harddrive (because emma was using it) and so I had to stay after school to do that.

But it is all handed in and we will be getting some feedback. I know the music at the start of my scene doesn't match so I will have to fix that I'm sure.

Blog Update

This morning I orginised how we are actually going to put it all together because it was only Alice and i that went after school yesterday. We will meet at Morning tea and everyone with their exported files will come and Nat and Emma's files will be added to Alice and my Final film. I talked to Emma and asked how she was doing she said that it was on Nat's file so that means that she had not added any of the sound we recorded onto the file so yeah, I am a bit annoyeddddddd...... We spend ages doing thoes recordings specifically for that scene and for her not to have added them kinda annoys the be-jesus out of me. Also with emma (yes I know I'm being a bit mean but its my blog so Im allowed) I told her to edit her scene as discussed and all she did was add the black and white. She didn't change any of the timing of the shots (though I had allready done that for everyone) but she didn't fix the brightness and contrast. She left and when I looked over it I relised this and had to stay a bit longer myself and get that done.

But I had a talk with Alice and yeah, I am really glad she was in my group becuase she would pretty much always turn up to all of the meetings i orginised, and she gets everything done and really supported me. It was also nice to hear her thank me for my effort in the project because t just makes all the absolute stress worth it.

Blog Update

Today I told everyone in my group that we had the creative media room ready to finish off the video. Well only me and Alice turned up. Yay! Great Teamwork!! To be honest,  I don't know where the other two are up to. But I have given them due dates and step by steps on how to do everything. I also sent them through the loops used to do the theme song because they weren't there to collect the allready put together tape that I did together.

Well anyway, today I gave Alice my theme tune and we both worked on our soundtracks for our scenes. After ages and ages, I was finished my soundtrack. I then added the sound track to the final cut and adjusted bits and peices to make it all flow.
I had to leave at 5:15pm but Alice was nearly done when I left so I left her with my harddrive so she can put her final scene onto our new final cut for the final film.


Emma and Nat better have done their parts.
