Blog Update

I have forgotten to blog recently so this one will cap all that has happened.

Learning wise, Mr. Andrews showed our group how to use the soundtrack pro and the full class the garage band. He also went through how music creates dramatic effect and makes the film interesting.

But by how things have been going within the group, it has been slighly hectic. We are "kinda' on course so to say, but it has a lot of variables. The first lesson this week we worked just on the editing of our individual scenes and shortened or cut shots, corrected brightness and desaturated each indiviudal shot. Thanks to my previous editing at the start before I knew that is was going to be another group assesment, it was very easy for my group to edit their shots and for some scenes, hardly any changes needed to be made. On the second and third lesson we worded on the music backing. And it is really really hard. I'm not an expert of 1920's film noir music, all I can really think about is saxophones, so it is a long, paint drying process trying to get a sound track that matches and enhances our film. Every free afternoon we've had afterschool we have been recording the dialogue and all we need to re-record now is Natlies voice over emma's character. We were unable to get a male teacher to go over Alice because we just ran out of time are were not orginised in that aspect.

Today after school we are to meet in the Molfy basement adn film a few shots and if we have handcuffs we will re-film that, or else we will just have to put up with the golden chains.
then we just need to do the full music, put dialogue over it and then put it back into a final, final cut thingy. I will be leaving around 5:00pm. nothing much *please notice sarcasm*

But that should do it and I think i will stay later if need be, I did have a laptop form but I have no idea where it went so i will stay for as long as i have to.
